The iconic Lyngby vase was first manufactured in the 1930s. The grooved vases were manufactured by several porcelain factories back then, but the name followed the model that was originally produced in Lyngby by Porcelænsfabrikken Danmark. The Lyngby vase is an unusually beautiful and versatile vase.

It lends itself to large bouquets, callas, and cherry and apple branches. Placed alone, it serves as a free standing sculpture in itself and as a floor vase.
