The iconic Lyngby vase was first manufactured in the 1930s. The grooved vases were manufactured by several porcelain factories back then, but the name followed the model that was originally produced in Lyngby by Porcelænsfabrikken Danmark. The Lyngby vase is an unusually beautiful and versatile vase.
It lends itself to large bouquets, callas, and cherry and apple branches. Placed alone, it serves as a free standing sculpture in itself and as a floor vase. If you place it in an arrangement with Lyngby vases in different sizes, it becomes a harmonious hub or focal point. The vase radiates calmness and classic beauty, no matter where you place it or what you place in it.
